2018 to 2024. Seven seasons, $549,000.

The New York crew

The second chapter

Born in the city of Stonewall.

New York became wayOUT's second chapter in 2018, in the city where the modern fight for LGBTQ+ rights broke out in 1969. For seven seasons the New York crew threw a Gayla every fall and sent every dollar to one youth organization, from Provo to Mobile.

They made it through a pandemic year with a virtual Gayla hosted by Peppermint, and came back the next fall in Brooklyn.

New York, in one line

“You never completely have your rights, one person, until you all have your rights.”
